how it works
When people are anxious, they don’t want to think through how to phrase a prompt. Murmur lets them upload a screenshot and get a clear, emotionally attuned explanation quickly.

Making sense of the information is only half the problem:
these checks happen mid-doomscroll, so Murmur ends with a short guided breath to help users reset before returning to their feed—or leaving it altogether.
key decisions
A smartly broken-down flow, not an open chat:
I broke a potentially stressful journey into clear steps so users always know what to do next and can move through the experience quickly.

Breathing instead of a quote/card: In a learning context, an end card can feel didactic, like being told what to think. I used a short breathing reset to engage the body, lower arousal, and keep the experience supportive rather than instructive.

Clarity without spiraling: I allow one optional follow-up (“Still uneasy?”) to offer reassurance without pulling users into an endless loop.

Emotionally attuned voice and content: I tailored the copy to the user’s emotional context, anticipating the questions they are most likely asking and answering them clearly and gently.

I’m testing what users return for most (clarity, reassurance, or breathing) and using that signal to guide the next iteration.
